Trench gets awarded one of the world's leading accelerator program

Adi Shemesh, our CEO and Founder had just flown in from Chicago (Hello Northwestern!) and was on stage, pitching with passion and conviction last Wednesday for StarTau Competition.

"Imagine you could get into any women's closet, and get her stuff. Being able to enjoy new fashion items on a daily basis with no consequences at all. "

Wow, the audience completely kept silent after the "I have nothing to wear" declaration. And masters had to bow and applause at the end of an exactly 3min pitch. Indeed, everybody noted the "thank you" on the 00:00 of the timer.

This is Art, this is Trench!

After a long process and hundreds of applications, 50 startups were selected for the challenge organised at Tel Aviv University. Each of them had to pitch in front of a series of judges; a long process leading to the selection of three outstanding ones to go to the finals.

And guess what, we were there!

Along with Evolita, a data analysing tool, and Reporty, revolutionising the safety sector based on the involvement of the crowd around, Trench got to pitch in front of a full amphitheater.

And.... The suspense was especially high as we were announced we had won the first place!

But we actually came second, well done to Reporty!

The adventure carries on now as we were awarded a place at Plug and Play, one of the leading accelerators in the world, reviewing 4,000 startups per year.

See you in the valley :)
