Spotlight of the Week: Keren Val
Trench's Spotlight of the Week is someone you may have ran into...she works with part of the Trench community. Maybe you've seen her at Roni Kantor! Read on to learn more about our Spotlight of the Week.
In the last month, Keren has worked at our very own Roni Kantor store!! Keren was both on August 17th, 1983. She is originally from Petach Tikva and now lives in Tel Aviv. Keren studied General and Jewish Philosophy at Tel Aviv University. She likes to hangout with her friends, read books and go to the beach. And the bet is when she can do all three of them together!
Trench: If you had $1,000 how would you spend it?
Keren: It will be nice to fly to Berlin, which I've wanted to return to since i have been there three years ago. It was a great shopping vacation with my best friend! Berlin has amazing sales during and after Christmas, so we must use it when the opportunity arrises!
Trench: Totally agree! And I love Berlin - it's so gorgeous and Alexanderplatz is "ash". Who is your fashion style icon?
Keren: Im not sure that I love all of what she wears, but Alicia Keys is my latest new idol. She recently started go to events without makeup at all, and with that action she can be a good role model for women who embraced and makeup too much - because their age or other issues we all have, that society causes. Alicia is hopefully making an impact.
Trench: That is such a great point! What is the one wardrobe essential you can’t live without?
Keren: I think that everyone will agree that we all need a pair of good jeans. I found one when i was in Madrid, in a Mango outlet store that was located far from city center but was totally worth it! I never go without them!
Trench: Do you have a favorite fashion label?
Keren: I really like Zara because of the great translate they did from high fashion to ready to wear clothes, and they're accessible prices.
Trench: If you could change closets with anyone in the world, who would it be?
Keren: I actually am a bit attached to my clothes and I don't want to switch with anyone.
Trench: That is the best answer we've ever received!! So...what’s in your bag right now?
Keren: I have two different shades of lipstick, my wallet, a book and a tiny bottle of coconut body mist which fits to the summer perfectly.
Trench: What is your at the top of your “wishlist”?
Keren: I want a long sleeve velvet dress, preferable a red wine color one. I like velvet and I was so happy to see that its returned to fashion, so now I just have to find me the right dress.
Trench: When you can’t think of anything to wear, what is your go-to outfit?
Keren: I have a boho amazingly chic dress, so when I'm confused or in a real hurry I can just throw it on and go out, without any need of accessories.
Trench: Keren, thank you so much for letting us interview you on your break at Roni Kantor's. You truly are a fashion inspiration for all us Trenchies!
