A few days ago I brought you the "How To's" of creating and generating a great photograph for your items. Today, I will share with you specific details for shooting different articles from your wardrobe.

(Read through the blog, I promise it's worth it)

First, the of hangers are great. But the truth is they don't really showcase your items in the best way possible unless you tape it to the wall so that it looks like the real way it should look or specifically specified (see trousers)

So let's take a different route - item specific things you want all Trenchers to notice, desire, and most of all, get you Diamonds!

PHOTOGRAPHING TOPS

Find a hard-top flat table big enough to support the shirt. **Remember, backgrounds count! If you want lay a flat white sheet over the table top, but remember NO CREASES**

Lay shirt flat UNWRINKLED on hard surface.

Do not stick out the arms of the shirt - instead let them hang like you were actually wearing them.

You can be creative here, scrunch up the arms a bit, or fold them like you are actually wearing the shirt - this gives the item more appeal.

PHOTOGRAPHING DENIM

Open and button the zipper to let the denim have a more natural effect, Because the pants may be slightly higher than the front of the pants so you want to show that off.

To add 3D dimensions, tuck in extra fabric, particularly at the crotch. This tip is high important, so do not forget!

Narrow the legs. DO NOT TUCK ENTIRE PART OF THE JEANS UNDERNEATH. But legs on jeans look huge when laid out flat, but neatly fold them and just add the tip of the seam underneath.

Denim is supposed to look natural. Scrunch the knees slightly as well as the bottom cuff. The look will give it a real feel instead of a one dimensional look.

PHOTOGRAPHING TROUSERS

Unlike denim, I suggest using hangers - all photographic tips from Part A are recommended here.

Of course, creaseless is key!

Style them how you would style it when you wear it. If you use a belt, add it on - If you cuff them at the bottom showcase that. Remember you are Trenching the way you love your pieces. Don't forget! Also remember to tuck in pockets so there are no lines that either.

Iron at the crease before hanging up the trouser.

PHOTOGRAPHING SKIRTS AND DRESSES

If you must use a hanger, make sure its ironed and pressed (if you have not learned this yet, please re-read EVERYTHING). Also make sure it looks the way it should look as if a person was wearing it - use painters tape to get this feeling.

Laying flat on a surface...remember FLAT.

Pay attention to detail - do not create a different looking dress

Since waist so it looks particularly feminine as it would when you were wearing it.

Point sleeves down, just as you would with tops.

PHOTOGRAPHING SHOES

Be creative.

Use a plain white background or use a color that enhances the the shoe.

Place shoe on shoebox if possible with one shoe in front and the other behind - be careful not to cover up entire shoe in the back. Place them almost diagonal but pointed the same way.

Take a photo from above.

PHOTOGRAPHIC JEWELRY

A bit tricky since you need to be accurate with the shape.

Background is essential - you want to color contrast yet keep the basics elegant. Colored paper is makes great use of this tip.

Necklaces – Guide long chains along the bottom of a glass or saucer to arrange it in a smooth teardrop, circle or serpentine shape. Carefully remove the dish before you take the picture.

Studs – Put a piece of cardboard or foam behind the paper background to stabilize earring posts and hold them upright.

Bracelets – Photograph your bracelets from the same angle so you can “stack” them inside the outfit editor while making outfits.

Enjoy these tips, use them, Trench them, earn Diamonds with them.
