5 Spring 2016 Fashion Trends to keep an eye on!

Its finally time to toss those bulky winter jackets back into the closet and take out our favourite jeans and leather jackets, because spring is finally here! Time to take out our favourite sunglasses, pop some colour into our outfits and enjoy the good weather.

Step into spring in style - watch out for these 5 spring 2016 fashion trends directly from the runway:

1. The 90’s are back! - The fashion industry is feeling pretty nostalgic and brought back the trends of the 90’s to the runways. Funny packs, grungy looks, and minimalistic styles, they were all present at this years fashion shows.

2. Ruffles on Ruffles - they were everywhere on this years spring collection catwalks. The designers mostly created big ruffles that made a cool statement on the piece.

3. The Cold Shoulder - Giving the cold shoulder is now fashionable and not rude. This trend was not missed at one show. It reached from shoulder cutout’s, to off the shoulder or even asymmetrical necklines which bared the shoulder. So this spring, give some cold shoulders.

4. Victorian is back - High necklines, some more ruffles, bows… the victorian inspired pieces where seen on many catwalks and look trendier than ever.

5. I just woke up - the inspiration of the designers might have come to them in a dream…while lying in bed. Outfits that look like silky PJ’s are super in trend right now. Rihanna showed us how its done, and now its your turn. This definitely eliminates the “what to wear” problem in the morning.
