Starting college is a whole new experience. Your independent, you don't live at home anymore, you need to cook for yourself or live out of take out (be aware of the freshman 15, its not a myth), and your closet space is becoming very limited.

As the semester goes on, the study sessions become longer and the visits to the library become more frequent. Many start to go from jeans and a cute top to joggers, leggings and oversized sweaters. To keep looking stylish and easily choosing outfits in the morning, and to not look like your plans are staying in and binge watching a new show on Netflix, here’s what should not be missing on your packing list for your first year in college:

1. Bring at least 3 to 4 jeans that fit you well and maybe a pair of faux leather pants, that you can pair easily with a knit sweater and some sneakers or boots for a fashionable outfit. 2.Leggings are a must have for college, coming in all different colours, materials and prints, they are super easy to pair with any kind of sweater or top and let’s be honest, there’s nothing more comfortable. 3. Knit sweaters should also not be missing in your closet and are the perfect trade for your hoodies. 4. For all those freshman college parties, the easiest go-to outfit is probably a crop top and some high waist jeans or skirt. 5. A Jumpsuit is the perfect day-to-night piece that you can easily transform by switching out the flats with some booties and adding some jewellery and a cute jacket to be ready for a fun night out. And don't worry, if you’re missing something, theres always your roommates' closet to explore.
